Ebba was born in Denmark and educated as a teacher of embroidery.  She studied pottery at Hornsby Technical College. 

Ebba  joined the NSCG in 1978 and is also a member of the Society of Arts & Crafts of NSW.

Inspired by nature, Ebba says: “Living close to the forest where mushrooms grew in the moss and birds nested in the pine trees.  The fields and roadsides were full of wildflowers and colours of the landscape were soft.  On arrival in Australia, the brilliant blue sky, tall eucalyptus trees and the very strong beautiful nature greeted us.”
